So, I'm a level 8 Breton, and I'm trying to do a Magic based character, however, when I go into my "Magic" menu, it shows me tabs for Illusion, Destruction, Conjuration, and Restoration, but ALTERATION is COMPLETELY absent form the list. Do I need to learn an Alteration spell before it shows up...or do I have a horrifying glitch? I'd start with a novice spell in each school of magic, starting out. And I;d also figure that if I knew no spells in a particualr school, the tab would still BE there, just inaccessible. So, what's going on here?

Yep, doesn't show if you don't know any of the relevant spells. You are fine, just read a tome and it will show up.
