Is anyoen modding a proper PC interface?

*Typo; "Anyone"

Although it's quite sad that someone has to mod what should have been in the PC verson in the first place.. I just wondered if anyone is looking into this?

Just a proper PC interface, with hotslots on the bottom which you can assign to abilities and items. It'd make the game infinitely more playable form a mouse/keyboard user's POV.

At the moment having to go into a menu to find an item in a list, and then add the item to favorites, and then go into favorites and then assign a hotkey. It's just an absolutely terrible UI for the PC.

Yes, in fact there are some well known modders working on creating a more PC-friendly version of the interface. Even DarN appeared out of nowhere a few days ago and announced that he was working on a UI mod.

Also, there is http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1267229-modding-the-gui/ on this subject already so you need to use that one. :)
