Bethesda...have you taken a arrow to the knee?

Ok...so my early post was kind of trollish and I shouldn't have posted with out more detailed facts about what it entails...Bethesda you have always been a good, reliable company. But relying on Steam for everything is stupid...Why don't you all make your own software like EA did with Origin? I mean look how TF2 Workshop turned out...garbage. I think a Bethesda licensed program would make everyone happy. And it would solve a lot of problems too. Just a thought.

I'd rather have Starforce than Steam, and that's no hyperbole.

(hint, badly)

True, I was just using that as an example. I would like to see a program similar to steam but completely run by Bethesda and just include Bethesda games.

Whut? The workshop is one of the best ideas for TF2. Rather than Valve choosing the content for future updates, the actual players get to choose it. That's not how it's gonna work for Skyrim though, it will just be another mod portal. Is that a bad thing? No, we could see actual game integration, opening up the world of mods for people who have never bothered with them. This isn't a bad thing in any way, nothing will change from how we've had mods in the past.

I hate this community sometimes. =/

We already have an open discussion topic for the Creation Kit / Steam workshop announcement.
