I need help. As soon as I start Skyrim. The first guy that kind of looks like Thor (I think his name is Stormcloak, I don't know. I can't be sure because I can't get more than two minutes into the game) speaks then turns to the guy next to him and the guy turns to me like he's supposed to say something and then just stares and after a few seconds the game freezes. This is a brand new game and my system works fine for my other games. I would apreciate any help. Oh, and I've tried some of the methods to fix it, uninstalling the game, starting a new game, and restarting the system.

Id try it on another ps3 ,if that dont work change the disk if it still dont work there have to give you refund.In its current state it is a game you cant complete due to frame rate anyway . This is not a bug ive heard of tbh

Hmm... since it's a brand new game file, delete your installation and patch data, and try starting the game over. There's a slim possibility it could be the disc.

Im sorry, but it may just be a faulty disc.

I've tried uninstalling the game and patch data.

The first disc I bought from Gamestop online was faulty as the data on it was corrupted. Returned it and got a new copy and had to call Sony tech help to fix it. Might be your problem too.

How did Sony Tech Support help you if you had a new disc? Just curious in case that could help me solve my problem.

Before downloading the patch and installing the game, did you had enough space in your HDD (at least 30 Gb) ?


Also maybe would be a good idea to disable your Internet conection on the Network Settings, before starting the game and disable Autosaves (remember to save Manually and OFTEN on several files) Good Luck !
