PS3 160GB Killzone 3 Bundle. I only mention the bundle because I am sure even within the slims there are different series in models. System and game up to date fully with all available patches/updates. I run media server, and stay online the entire time and I use my PS3 notifications. I only mention online because someone has suggested that online notification might add to lag, I do not see that.

awesome im pleased for you. i wonder what it is that actually allows you to play it with no lag. do you have an hd tv as well? so are you running it in hd?

I am. Running through HDMI since my component output on my PS3 does not work :-/ Doesn't bother me too much as I have another 23.3 in HDTV I can bring with me places when I tote my PS3 to lan parties and whatnot. No lag difference between a 48" or a 23.3", just to note either... I have had no scaling problems either.

Perhaps Bethesda should borrow my PS3 and make everyone's as awesome as mine is.

lol. do you have many other games installed? meaning is your hard drive jam packed or empty?

I only see one "issue" in this thread and I'm sure if we all do what we need it will be fine. The mods will handle it. Why argue. I mean we can all share Mor's copy lols!

Oh I am a game player... All disc games able to install are, and I have a ton of PSN games on my system. My HDD is prob about 80% full, so I am starting to consider upgrading the HDD. I have a 500GB sitting here next to me I can slap in there, but I do not want to mess anything up so I doubt I will bother.

13MB game stutters about every 6 sec but for the other 5 sec its fine. Its like a bearable Chinese water torture

If you look at the very early game(everybody saying absolutely no problems) there are very small stutters and pauses, this I think is a warning about how the game will perform when the engine/system is stressed.

I've done all the fix's to help but If I'm honest Its not good enough for me to pay the same as Xbox players paid, seeing as there game is silky smooth with no pauses and stutters.

If you say there are no lags with your game you sure you not just trying to make do and do have tiny amounts of lag at best with bad lag in some areas?

I certainly didn't start this thread for flaming etc or to constantly moan about the issues as there are 100's of those already. I wanted to see more info especially from those not experiencing problems... keep them coming surely a balanced approach to this is more beneficial to everyone in the end..?

Anyway back to BF3 until the patch comes.. though I know the call of the dragon born will become to strong to resist

I only have minor lags, and they aren't even common... it just stutters for a second or two and sometimes I hardly notice. I never once have had a freeze where I had to turn my system off. I also never once had what I would call a major lag. I thought I did once, until I looked up and saw Autosave...

Couldn't resist playing tonight though i said I'd wait for the patch. Started to lag regular now in most areas. Nothing really bad but noticeable and consistent. It comes to us all I guess?! 6.3mb save 30hrs play.. This patch better work as it's up there as one of my favourite games..

I feel like PS3 owners are getting a bum deal on multi plats at the moment. BF3 is supposed to be about squad play and the match making kicks you out of parties and the VOIP is glitchy as hell. Skyrim is about long play, time investment, character and story development, but it breakdowns the more you play... You gotta laugh.. The most ironic and utterly frustrating release periods I can remember. Just not good enough developers, not good at all. I hope people start waiting and buying used etc. or at least wait for patches and price drops. If we voted with our wallets more they WOULD do something about it then and ensure such SERIOUS glitches/bugs weren't there on release.

A very unhappy gamer at present

30 hours, save file 4.9mb, runs perfect so far. I'm not expecting it to stay that way though as my save file increases, though oddly my save file hasn't been increasing too rapidly. I find it sometimes goes down even though I've just completed a dungeon and made a mess. I also havent downloaded any patches for the game (im on dialup), I figure maybe there's a chance the bug is in the 1.1 patch that was released with the game. Not that i'm too hopeful of that being the case.

I've actually been following these boards before I even purchased the ps3 version knowing and dreading the stutter-bug before I even opened the package.

I also have the PC version which my son has been playing for about 35 hours and ive put maybe 5 hours into. He's actually encountered 2 crashes, 1 freeze, and an annoying 'freeze for 5 seconds every minute or so' problem (specific to xp, work around for it) whereas with the ps3 version I've had only 1 hard freeze. Of course the PC version looks amazing though in comparison. The ps3 version I find solid thus far, colors are a bit washed out and my hdtv is terrible with ghosting in dark environments, but it's perfectly playable and there are worse ps3 ports out there.

Despite the bugs I love this game, so good it practically brings me to tears of joy on a regular basis . I immediately ordered a new graphics card for pc a few hours after playing, it just felt like 'this was the one', that game I'll be playing the hell out of for the next 5+ years. Hopefully all these bugs will be worked out and long forgotten before too long. I plan to be living here in skyrim for a long long time.

I have played 73 hours and Its a 15mb saves I play fine little stutters here and there but thats only when it auto saves but the really anoying thing is, is when i go to put armour on mannequines!! D: it makes me sad.

Yeah - That is probably my biggest beef right now. Fix the Mannequines!
