Can you place your house anywhere in Skyrim with the Hearthf

Can you place your house anywhere in Skyrim with the Hearthfire add-on, or is it restricted to a certain place? Also will this be available on PS3 next month or will it be another Dawngaurd?

1. You have to buy a tract of land to build on. There are three holds with available land.
2. Best case scenario - PS3 Hearthfire comes out Oct. 4, 2012. Worst... who knows if we get it period?

From what I've seen its only going to be in a certain area. The houses will be in the holds you can't buy property in in the Vanilla game.
Hopefully the engine and the coding will work. If it does then I think PS3 will be getting Hearthfire when PC does.

To be more specific: you can buy land in the wilderness of Falkreath, Hjaalmarch (Morthal) and the Pale (Dawnstar).

3 Certain places you can have it in. 1 in each available hold.

Also, nobody knows about PS3, bethesda hasn't said anything about it.

You can have a set plot of land up to three in fact confirmed. You cannot place them wherever they are in set spots.

No word on the PS3 yet but I am sure it will be out for you all eventually.

The Pale, Hjaalmarch and Falkreath are the holds.
Personally, Falkreath is the beastiest.
But you can obviously scout each plot, and buy all three if you so wish.

Eventually isn't good enough.

Well I was really hoping to build in The Rift.

Not real crazy about building in a frozen place either so Falkreath Hold may be my only option.

The plot in the Pale looks pretty good if I am right. Should be just north of Loreius farm and somewhat west of Blizzard's rest. Beautiful view of the valley below and Dragon's Reach in the distance. I am thinking I will want both the Falkreath and Pale plots. I am not too excited about living on the edge of a swamp.

Has anyone figured out exactly where the houses can be built in the holds? I want to build my house in Falkreath hold but only if it's on the coast of Lake Illianata.

I went to the one in the Pale, it's awesome if you're into tundra. I lined up the landscape pretty perfectly with the carriage driver screenshot. It's very close to the path to Blizzard Rest.

Edit: I also found the spot in Hjaalmarch, it's ok. The Falkreath one I'm having a really hard time with .
