So Cicero is immortal?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:21 am

I was reading some comments at youtube, and some guys said that Cicero was actually the Adoring fan, contracted to murder the champion of cyrodill(or in that case the contract was about murdering the Grand champion in the third era by ambushing him in the woods). So i read the articles about him in the wikia and i confirmed that.Ok by there are 3 problems:
1-He doesn't even look like the Adoring fan.The adoring fan is an elf,a very small one with a gold hair.Cicero is probaly an Imperial with brown hair.
2-Cicero can live like any other human.About 80 years. While elfs(adoring fan) can live for hundreds of years. So it's impossible to cicero have lived for over 250 years.
3-He doesn't murder the champion of cyrodill as he says in his journal. If the champion helped cloose the Obvilion gate, and probaly becamed the new Shegorath...how the hell he killed him?

He is not the adoring fan. He might be just as annoying, but that's something else.

He can't be the adoring fan as that fool is lying dead in the mountains in Cyrodiil. He had a little accident if I remember correctly. He was standing on a balcony in Frost Spire when he got hit with a fireball in the face. Blew him right off the balcony and down the mountain. I...erm...my great grandfather apparently never saw the fool again.

You people take everything much too literally.
It's obviously meant as a joke... an easter egg.

Cicero is very annoying! So was the Adoring Fan... So Bethesda made a joke about it, to poke fun at how they are both very annoying people.
Cicero is not meant to be 200+ years old, or a god-killer.

Besides... there can obviously be more than one Arena Champion and more than one Fan in the history of Tamriel.

duh

In his Journal, Cicero states that he posed as a Starstruck fan to the Arena Champion and then later killed him, this is a humorous reference, because after becoming Champion of the Arena in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, an Adoring Fan approaches you and wishes to follow you and be your biggest fan, to which many players responded with by killing him, most prominently and amusingly by chucking him off Dive Rock.

It's a joke by Bethesda mate. Because most people ended up killing him in Oblivion they put this in as payback. So no, he is not the adoring fan.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been alive at the time of Oblivion

You kidding?? Cicero is an awesome example of not judging a book by it's cover! He acts like a complete fool rofl and he just easily tools the entire brotherhood in their hideout and runs out the door. The dude's mentally unstable to be sure , but he's got serious skill at murdering. Best part is towards the end when you gotta go find that idiot husband of the leaders' Cicero tools him super-bad and leaves him on the ground bleeding and whining. You know , the guy that keeps calling you food names...

Theoretically, if we were to take the mechanics of the game literally, anyone under the service of Dohvakin would be immortal, as long as they did not invoke his/her wrath.
