Companions and their equipment..

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 5:31 pm

Does anybody know if we will be able to give our companions specific armor to wear or weapons to equip?

Ex: Companion X is currently equipped with iron armor and ancient nordic sword. I have a spare set of heavy dragon armor and a daedric two handed sword. I give him the armor and the sword and he equips them instead of the ones he is currently using.

Awesome news!

On others Words, take what they are using and give them what you want them to use. They will use it.

Yes you can give companions armour and weapons, but cannot take their default armour if what i've heard is true.

Unlike F:NV you can strip your companions of everything so you can decide what they use, it doesnt have to be better than their basic gear.

Read the Ripten preview. He talks quite a bit about companions and their gear in this.

If you give your companion a bow do you have to supply them with a continuous stream of arrows?
