I am mainly just looking for the proper syntax to add the special companion perks given with Rex and Boon, I think they are called "Search and Mark" and maybe "Spotter".

I think that it uses player.addperk [perkID] but I cannot find a list of the perkid values

Also, is it likely that adding these perks without having the companions with me will cause conflIcts/bugs?

Is there a place where I can find all of the codes? I believe that if I had the GECK I could find them but I don't have it and wouldn't even know how to use it as I'm really old. I'm especially interested in the code for bobby pins but all would be appreciated. I'm surprised the list isn't pinned as it was on the FO3 forums? Yeah I did google this and found SOME codes but not for the bobby pins? Hope you guys can help!!!

Bobby pins have the same id as in FO3 (a lot of objects do) - 0000000A, or just A as in player.additem A 10,000 (if you're a hopeless lockpicker)
