Hi,

Every time I enter Hag Rock Redoubt the game crashes. The loading screen starts up and it freezes, I can't even force a restart on the machine and have to switch it off at the power button.

This is annoying as I can't complete the Companions quest!

I have entered the place via the two entrances, and it crashes every time.

Any ideas what I can do? I don't want to start from the beginning as I am level 49.

The crash here is caused by a giant frostbite spider that spawns near the top of the stairs inside a tent. The spider is actually too large to leave the tent and gets stuck there. Every time I go to this location I my frame rate tanks but as soon as I kill the spider everything returns to normal. Best suggestion I can give is to try and use an invisibility spell or potion and sneak in and try to take out the spider first. hopefully if you are hidden you wont aggro the spider and the game might at least run long enough for you to kill it. Once its dead you shouldn't have any other problems there.

I was having a similar problem entering a different dungeon, don't remember which, but I turned off auto-save and it loaded fine. Turned it back on afterwards. Anythings worth a try.

I also had a crash there, but I use the other entrance to get in without a crash.
