Hello guys,

I'm a level 100 Destruction pure mage on PS3. I'd like to get my master spells, but everytime I talk to Faralda, she makes me start the quest but she doesn't give me the book. It does say "Power of the Elements" added, but in the book section of my inventory, it doesn't appear.

When I try to complete the quest, I can't read it, since there is no book and no quest progression shows up whatsoever (even though I do go to the locations, and am able to put a book, its simply not visible in my inventory

Anyone could help me with this?

Maybe your just not seeing the book due to a cluttered inventory. In any event reading the book only provides clues. It doesn't actually tell you were to go.

Just follow along the quest and see if it still works,

FWIW, I've reached 90+ Destruction with 4 different characters and have never been able to even get the quest from Faralda. The prompt just never shows up. Welcome to Bug City, the most populated place in Skyrim.

You need 100 in destruction not 90.

Apologies. But two have reached 100 and never gotten it. My last character was a perfect example. And I'll editorialize as I see fit. If you're new to the game, you'll discover how buggy it is the longer you play it.

No you don't the book changes at each step in the quest. It will literally be a different item at the end of the quest.

I've had it for months, put in hundreds of hours, and I've never had a problem with the prompts. Did you try talking with her during her normal buisness hours when she offers her shoping and training services.
