DICE DEVELOPERS to help fix Skyrim

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 7:09 pm

I have just downloaded a huge battlefield 3 patch and it is awesome it has fixed so many issues and made changes which fans requested on the forums. Dice are obvioulsy the lead developer at the moment.

Now im being serious i love skyrim and think the game is awesome. That is when it works which is not often. Why dont you guys at Bethesda ask for advice from another developer such as DICE for their help as they seem to be able to fix issues on the ps3 with their game. Im not sayin your crap at what you do but the lag/framerate issue could be difficult to Fix.

Maybe 2 heads better than one. Just a thought.

Well, the fact that DICE has absolutely no knowledge of how Bethesda's engine works might put a damper on their abilities.

Creation Engine =/= Frostbite 2. They are two very different engines designed for two very different games.

DICE teaming with Bethesda? LOL! That's out of the question. Don't get your hopes up.

Good point. Im just saying that someone like Dice might know the technical difficulties of the ps3 a bit more and may be able to offer advice thats all.

Misleading title, plus DICE is not going to help a competing company fix their issues.

How about game developers stop releasing unfinished games? Battlefield 3 was a piece of garbage on release. In fact, every Battlefield on the ps3 has released with the same issues: mics don't work, people can't squad up. They're a little better at patching their issues, sure, but let's stop praising developers for their patching abilities. RELEASE A FINISHED GAME.

lol, I blame american greed and not bethesda, their team is as good as any. They know how to make games, they just dont have the money (money is gifted by 'the man' when he wants to give it) nor time to make them properly. I bet there's some nameless programmer working for bethesda who is reading these boards right now, knowing EXACTLY what is wrong and exactly why he can't fix it.. he's shaking his head and drinking a beer because he knows he can't say the truth or he'll lose his job, the true 'working man' creators aren't stupid, heck I bet some of the 'player created content' via the construction set is created by covert bethesda employees. They ought to merge with blizzard or nintendo or kojima studios or someone with more money and a better corporate perspective, diablo3 isnt out because it will be released 'when it's done' as I'm sure the true cubical-bound creators of Skyrim would LOVE to be able to have said. Not that I'm anticipating diablo3 more than I was skyrim btw, I swear I'm sitting here looking at my PS3 screen (right beside the pc screen, yes i have the pc version of skyrim and it's broken too) wondering why it's frozen in Riften at the moment...

The game made massive money for the least amount of work, more or less, as was intended by pappa money-supplier who has all the say in it, and he sure got his money. It'll be fixed eventually, it has to be cuz we're american's too (EDIT! some of us are, I'm certainly not praising americans here, but i am one and i have no right to insult other countries as such. Just stereo-typing myself for this posts point) and we'll put all their future releases in the bargin bin for $15 after 6 months with dragon age II if they aren't more careful.
