The competition has officially begun!

You have forty hours or three weeks. Deadline is February 24th.

Post your characters name, race, and gender!

[Example]:

(Player Name)
(Character Name)
(Race)
(Gender)
(Difficulty)

General Rules

- Starting point is from no later than the first tower (with Ulfric and company)
- Mods are allowed, see below. If you are new to this or added mods since the last time you played, send your mod list to me (Richard).
- No reloading previous saves, even if character did not die (unless a glitch occurred).
- No map based fast travel. Boats and carriages are allowed.
- Once in Helgen Keep, DiD rules apply.
- Update at least once every 3 days (if possible).
- You may restart your game (restarting/starting point is from no later than the first tower [with Ulfric and company]) or create another character after you die. (Various forms are: Human, Zombie, Wraith, Ghost, Shade, Whisp [Every time you die, you must drop down at least one difficulty level, if possible.])
- No mods that add storage (this includes mod houses).
- You must level up upon attaining a level, at the first safe opportunity (cannot do it in combat). You need not assign perks immediately.
- The player highest score is the only one that counts for the round, meaning someone that has become a Wraith may win over a Human, if their score is high enough.
- You cannot make skills legendary
- Quest companions like Serana and Barbas have to be taken directly to their quest destination, with minimal side trips.
- No exploits. See list below for the common exploits. Ask if you are unsure about one that you've found. In the event of disagreement, a majority of the players enrolled in the round will decide.
- Be honorable and don't cheat. We do this for fun!

Forbidden Exploit list

Spoiler
- Fortify/Restoration looping
- Follower/Trainer exploit
- Training against helpless or harmless opponents (training block against low-level opponents [like mudcrabs or wolves], sniping at self-healing trolls from a safe location, sneaking behind NPCs just to raise Sneak, etc.)
- Spamming of skills in no-risk situations, just to raise them (Muffle, Clairvoyance, etc.)

A window of prep time is allowed for this round:

20 hr prep-time

- 360 & PS3 allowed to become Thane of Whiterun and buy Breezehome
- Other platforms not allowed to do any Thane, C.W., or Bounty quests
- Must be Expert, Master or Legendary to use Prep Time

May do an "Alternate Start"

- Inn Patron, Left for Dead..
- May not use Alternate Start with Prep Time

500 Bonus points for "Complete Vanilla Start"

- No bonus points when using Prep time

Regarding Mods

Mods will be allowed this round. This is obviously a trial run and, if everything goes well, we'll allow them in the future.
Send me your mod list and I'll see if everything is balanced out.

- mod list posted in a spoiler tag
example:
0 KS hair
0 UNP body type
+ Deadly Dragons
- Wearable Lanterns
- A quality world map
+ Immersive Creatures
* this is a Null .. meaning the mod's that make the game harder are evened out with "advantage" mods.. while it may not seem that a better map type really helps if it didn't...then it wouldn't be needed..
*Rules for Mods.. they may NOT make NPC's essential, they may not make Horses, dog's, followers essential or change their stat's
* so you can't have a horse mod that make's it run faster or harder to kill)
* A follower can't start with higher stat's than a vanilla follower.. AKA I could not use Ash, as he start's out with health and stamina of a lvl 40 character ( weapons also

Skill Points

You may choose up to six skills for your build of choice, (based on Classic TES builds) plus Speech as a freebie and another skill of your choice...

- Freebies ARE NOT perkable, but you may use them without incurring penalties.

* 5 point grace on non-drawn skills

-250 for each point that accrues for the 1st 10 after that, then -500 accruing for each point their after.
(ex: Alteration if it starts at 20 for your character)
21-25 = 0
26-35= -250 (per skill raise)
36+ = -500 (per skill raise)
