Did Todd stick to his words regarding letting the player sleep in owned beds after someone dies? Anyone know?

Thanks.

Some people have, the OP is asking those people.

I remember reading on a review that when the guy killed bandits at their camp, he still could not sleep in one of their beds.

I don't know. Nor would this effect my opinion of the game in the slightest.

I will cancel my preorder if I can't sleep in a stranger's beds.

I don't really trust their words that much, like todd said there where 280 perks but theres only 250, and he said you only get perks up to level 50 but then he said you can get them up to the cap now. Also I don't trust pete either, first he said all preorders would get the map, then he said only uk preorders are getting the map, but I see the map is still on store websites everywhere...

It does for me which is why I used that Owned mod for Fallout 3 like the plague. It made the game much better.

I do remember reading somewhere that it has been stated that once you kill some one, you can sleep in their beds. I don't remember where I read it though.

I would like to sleep in a bed that already has someone in it! Just have them wake up in the morning... And think to themselves, "Wait a moment... I wasn't spooning with anyone when I went to bed last night... "

Yeah that would be weird if you woke up with Esbern at side of you.

Would be great for the relationship side of things though - more realism.

Most importantly, has anyone counted ALL of the 7000 steps supposed to be there to reach the greybeards temple? :D

I may or may not have heard about a guy who took half an hour to reach it.

Half an hour?!? :twirl: Unless he was constantly pestered by animals and hostile NPCs I cannot really imagine why it took him so long. We know Skyrim terrain scale.

Color me surprised

Just watched a player walk up and sleep in a random bed while someone else was also sleeping in it.
I'd say that's a pretty good indication that the problem has been solved.

I have a mod for Oblivion called, I think, "Claim that interior" that you can use to make any interior your property, with certain restrictions.

Sounds good if that's true. Wonder if you can just sleep anywhere from the start then. Cheers.

sleeping in a bed gives you rested experience.
sleeping in a bed you own gives you well rested experience.

so i guess that means you can sleep in owned beds.

You know, that is a pretty inflammatory way to ask a question. Especially for such a minor part of the game.

Umm... You haven't seen the climb up High Hrothgar.

Without Spoiling: It's completely understandable how it could take someone an hour and a half.
