Every horse will stay at the position you left it as soon as you mount a new one, so Frost will be where you last used it.

hi thank you for your reply..
but i dont remeber where i left frost..... actualy the horses i have been using start walking away as soon as i unmount them.... i hardly use horses in the game i find walking and running much more useful.. its more the principle of the matter i want to ride frost the white good horse who has more life than a regular white horse vs shadowmere the black evil horse...

The horses will make for the nearest stables if there is one nearby, you'll find him there when you exit the city. If there is no stables, they will wait just ouside the boundary or gates of the town.

Every time I have fast travelled, the horse is there when I arrive but then, I normally fast travel on the horse and not on foot. If I travel to Whiterun, I end up on foot inside the city but the horse is near the stables outside.

To be honest though, the horse isn't that much faster tha running so it seems like a waste of cash to me.

Plus, you can only ride a horse in third person in Skyrim, unlike Oblivion, where you could ride in first person. I like to play in first person.

Afaik, if you choose a new horse, all purchased horses will walk 'home' to the stable they originated from, and if you fast travel all purchased horses will travel with you. But Frost is an exception.
Frost stays where you dismount, so if you want him back you'll need to remember where you left him.
