Does Dawnguard affect Tsun's dialogue?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 4:20 am

Tsun, the nordic aedra who defends the whalebone bridge in sovngarde, usually has unique dialogue pertaining to your choices.

I'm wondering if the Dawnguard downloadable content gives you a choice to note that you're a vampire lord among the volkihar?

Or if I understand, you can become a leader of them. So does that come up as an option with Tsun? or did Bethesda forget about this?

I don't see why it would, considering it's Bethesda and everything.

Interesting theory... this conversation is just coming from my imagination, buti imagine that it will be something like this:

"By right of Blood. I am leader of the Volkihar Vampires."

Then what would Tsun say???

Damnable Bethesda, always forgetting about the little things. Oh well, there's my dream of seeing Tsun's response to it gone down the drain.

I suppose I'll just have to change the Dawnguard DLC on PC to give the volkihar leader option and make the dialogue the same as the dark brotherhood one.

Sad to see that this small slice of uniqueness was not done by Bethesda themselves though.

I was wondering what would happen if you brought Auriel's Bow to Sovngarde. After all, it's the weapon of Shor's enemy.

They didnt do any of the work...they just nagged and annoyed the player the entire time. They had centuries to fix this and they did nothing so they can kiss my ass if they think they are standing between me and leading the Volkihar

Not really.

While age does grant strength like seen in ancient vampires, it does not procure that one is immune to better intelligence.
If Dovahkiin can kill Harkon, who in their right mind would challenge him or her? I'd hazard only an outsider, like themselves.

Hierarchy appears to work for vampires as long as exhibits of power are shown, which I doubt Serana or her mother are interested in.

There is no need for a leader, they're a court full of vampires relishing over a bloody victory and power.

When there is a leader, it appears to be because enough emphasis has been put in one's voice or acts to shape things.

It's like Harkon's sacrifice of a thousand souls to Molag Bal, as well as his wife & daughter's flesh in order to procure his 'lord' status.

That's the sort of thing that gets noticed in the vampiric community. Just like making a deal with Clavicus Vile for a better disguise.

Harkon is stronger than Serana or Valerica...i killed Harkon so they have no chance of challenging my rule...i would have already beheaded both of them if it let me anyways

Meh. I expected more in that area.

Isran still walks around the castle all high and mighty, giving his grim monotone one-liners to anyone that wanders close enough.

It's almost as if he didn't chill out in the relative safety of the Fort for the entire dlc and let me do everything. Almost.

Sure, he joined me in the final battle - but then again, I did everything there as well. Hell, only the armored troll that died defending him did anything worthwhile.

Then again.. I suppose I'm glad to see some variety for once. He is pretty much the only faction leader to survive an Elder Scrolls guild/faction story.

If they are more powerful then me why did they not kill harkon? oh thats right they ran like cowards. And yes you do become the leader at the end everyone except that annoying ass nord bows to your power plus valerica just wants to do her necromancy stuff and serana doesn't have leadership abilities.
