I have one mouse key setup to cast a damaging spell, and the other mouse button setup to cast a healing spell. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I can no longer do that and now only one mouse button works and i cant dual-cast anymore. I dont know if this has something to do with becoming a vampire or not.

I;ve restarted my game a few times and tried to reconfigure dual casting, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

No....but after you said that I set the controls back to default settings and I still cant add a healing spell to my right mouse buttong while a destruction spell is mapped to my left mouse button...its either one or the other. I dont know if this is caused by turning into a vampire(though I am no longer a vampire and it still wont let me dual cast) or by getting dual casting in destruction and later on in the game getting the perk for dual casting heals. I'm so confused...all i know if that I can;t play like this and enjoy the game.

I then loaded an old save from 4 level beforehand and it had dual casting already setup...so I'm confused

Anyone there...did I just waste my money for a game that doesnt work and with tech support who ignores you?

Does it say whether you have anything assigned to R and L?

I just reverted back to an old save and have been trying to get back to the same level as before...thanks though

Styrange as it may seem. You won't get help from Bethesda in these forums.

This is the first time I've seen anyone have problems with their mouse buttons. Revert the controls to defaults for starters - if you changed them it might have had an effect. Secondly do a simple test like the flames spell - assign it to favourites then a number, and then press that number twice: Do you see the spell equipped in both hands? If yes, try both the left and right hands separately - can you cast the spells individually? If yes, then try both mouse buttons together and report what happens.

It took so long for help that I just went back to an old save and the dual casting worked fine, which means it wasn't the control settings. It must have been a glitch that happened when I either became a vampire or when i typed the console command to get rid of vampirism.
