Hello I just purchased Skyrim today, every time I try to run the game it crashes and I'm back at my desktop with an even smaller resolution.
I updated my graphics card with a clean install, still did no good.

Using the DirectX that installed with the game..

Any help would be awesome before I give up all together and return to Gamestop for my money back..

Try going back to a much older graphics driver.

i've tried this but don't work at all all my drivers are ok but when i click on play it crash.

I would like to know if other people can see the error Werfault.exe when the game crash like it.
To see it u have to go CTRL ALT DEL then process and look at it when u click on play.

Nope, I get no errors at all. The game simply just crashes to my desktop without warning.
