GStaff - No More DLCs Please

Post » Thu Sep 06, 2012 6:43 am

Fixed that for ya, and yes. One look at ME3 and Dragon Age 2 and you can see 1st day released dlc is a bad idea.

Cheese is even better than cake. So, I approve.

Ah, I didnt know there was a canon one, lol. Now that I think about it, the default nord is the "canon" dovahkiin, the one in the trailer...Lol, I fail.

Well yknow, they never -officially- state those guys are canon, but it just naturally happens that way. When people think of Courier Six or Dovahkiin, they think of the default face. Likewise, they have a habit of popping up in the trailers. The default face has been in every trailer for Skyrim and the default face for Courier Six was in 3 out of 5 of the trailers and buttloads of promotional images.

On a side note, the canon Lone Wanderer is fugly. No wonder the Tunnel Snakes picked on him.

Gstaff, I humbly request that you quadruple all current DLC production.

What he said, but double. And double humbly too.

I'd rather have bug-free DLC at the current production rate than x4 crap DLC

Call me crazy, but considering how long Bethesda has been making games, and the fact that this isn't their first rodeo with the whole dlc thing, I think they know what they're doing.
I agree.
They won't stop making DLC's at the moment.

Someone must be taking an economics class in college.

And failing to realize how little they know.

Someone must be taking an economics class in college.

Not the right one.

Game Developers are looking for both increased revenue streams and to combat piracy. DLC's can go a long way to cover both of those. This is not limited to Bethesda. I can't think of a major game developer that does not offer DLC's or Micro Transaction on at least some of their games.

I really don't want the game to come out all bundled up for ... $100. That's a sale few will accept. Buying the game at $60 and then adding DLC's later for $5-$20 is much less painful.

What a brilliant idea. Charge twice more for the same content but claim that it includes a year's worth of DLCs. Activision, you reading this?
