I have skyrim!

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 4:30 pm

As stated in the title, I have skyrim 3 days early! :celebration:
Why you may ask? I really have no idea. But in a lot of european countries Skyim seems to be released early.
And don't go flaming saying that I'm a pirate (yarr) because all big game dispensing companies here in belgium are selling it.
Too bad Steam is a female dog and only on the 11th will I be able to play it. :c I secretly hope those xboxers and ps3ers have something restricting them too.

And I added pics for you unfortunates to gorge your eyes on. ^_^ (Everything's in dutch, so no, you don't need glasses) Because it wouldn't be worth posting if I didn't have anything to share.
Will post some other pics of the map and stuff later.

Here are the pics:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/bild0013a.jpg/
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/846/bild0021y.jpg/
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/684/bild0019u.jpg/
NOTE: Don't mind the date on the pictures, my camera resets it every time I take out the batteries, So I stopped changing it.

And If this isn't allowed or there are too many threads like this, and you're tired of me, go tell a mod and either s/he or I will lock this thread. Even though I just wanted an excuse for making a thread. :sadvaultboy:

EDIT: Here's a pic of the map: http://imageshack.us/f/510/bild0024z.jpg/ (it's fairly large, about my forearm and hand in height and my whole arm and hand in width. No I don't have anything else to measure with at the moment. :P)
and one of the handbook: http://imageshack.us/f/847/bild0036.jpg/

What should be restricting the Xbox and PS3 gamers is the release date.

Their consoles should activate the self-destruction mode if they attempt to run the game before Friday. :P

ROFL! I knew I should have said girl friend. :D

Did you get the guide? At this point I'm really more interested in finding answers to all the questions still floating around.

Nope. I prefer finding my own solutions and surprises. Because that was how I kindof ruined oblivion for me. Knowing how quests will end and where certain loot is found.
The only things included are the map, the game (obviously) and the little handbook that explains how things work.
Also, is the guide actually available before the game is released (in america)? Because that would'nt be a smart move.

You are supposed to be able to pick it up on the same day.

I have the game but no guide so I'm assuming not.

Probably happened because so many stores are used to releasing things on Tuesday? I mean that is when most games/movies/music/books are released.. so I can understand why a lot of shops would just do it automatically.

Why are the screenshots on the back so old, shouldn't they be new ones for a released game v_v

Packaging would have been done early, I imagine.
