I wanted to add my little bit to the discussion, and I promise that it will be unique. I have lurked this forum since the beginning and feel that my addition is merited .
I have always embraced the console concept, that what you get is what you pay for, no questions asked. And yet, I am finding, after a patch which is supposed to correct curtain framerate issues, I am experiencing the complete opposite. It has been but hours since the patch release, but as a regular forum fan throughout the whole series, I can easily realise that this is the best it will get, in terms of gameplay experience. This is a shame. A damn shame,
It has become quite apparent that the elder scrolls series has finally sold out. And, to the people reading this that matter, do not be put off by these words. The specific issues that I mention are simple. This game seems to allow that major quests to be competed. and then after this the hardware issues start rear their ugly head. It is quite apparent from an objective stand-point that the intention of the developers has been to entertain the first 20 hours of gameplay and neglect the rest. It is a matter of trying to sell the game to two sperate crowds, the mass market and the ones who truly care how the game presents along each release.
I understand that this is harsh, but as I said this is nothing to dismiss. Please fix the console version for those who always recognised the elder scrolls series for what is ought to be, large, emersive, and definately deserving of an experience beyond 20 hours. You must know that when the formula is right, everyone wins in the end.
Just curious, why does it say that you joined today at 8:45 if you have lurked since the beginning? Have you different identities on the forum, or were you banned with a previous username? I hope that you are being truthful in your post but this one minor detail is puzzling to me.
