Khajiit followers?

I know that there are not marrible Khajiits in Skyrim (I don't know why) but is there a way to get a Khajiit to follow you?

One of the College of Winterhold students is a Khajiit. Haven't tested, but since the two other students will follow you after you complete their side quest, I am pretty sure this one would as well.

Spoiler
Yep, the warrior that guards that Khajiit caravan that goes from town to town. You have to do a quest for him and then he offers to be your follower.

Ps: Made it a spoiler just in case.

His caravan keeps moving around towns so it's a bit difficult to find him.

Your best bet would be wait just outside Riften, at the stables, for a few days.

He'll set up camp there eventually.

Oh, is he the one that sells things?

Also, is the reason why there are no marrible Khajiit because it is against their religion?

I keep seeing the caravan set up camp outside Whiterun but have never seen them on the move, has anyone else or do they just appear and disappear?

For Kharjo,
Check outside the 9 major cities.

For J'zargo,
Go to the College of Winterhold

There are several distinct Khajiit caravans around Skyrim.

Kharjo's caravan travels between Riften , Dawnstar and Whiterun.

As for Khajiit not being marriable, I guess it has something to do with them not being allowed to set foot inside the cities.

As the others have said, there is both a Khajiit mage at the college of WInterhold called Jzargo who can follow you, and a Khajiit named Kharjo who travels with a merchant caravan that seemed to travel from Riften to Dawnstar on my game. I first encountered him at the Riften stables, but my quest marker tracked him going up to Dawnstar after I had finished his personal quest. There are no Female Khajiit companions though.

I don't think that the reason no Khajiit are marryable has anything to do with their religion- I think they just didn't make any options for them, like with Bosmer, male Redguards and male High elves. Some might even be added in future DLC/Expansions
