As you will notice I am new on here. I come and read forums but now I feel I must contribute. I for one in the gaming community am extremely upset at what the gaming industry has become. If a mod pulls this for bringing in other subjects to help the cause then they are just part of the coverup. First off, I love fallout 3 and new vegas but I have gone through hell and back just to get through the game and finish 3. I havent played enough of new vegas to see if it will be equally as frustrating but from reading all the comments on here i dont have to. This is rediculous and the devs should be ashamed! And im not just talking about obsidian or bethesda. Take a look at Microsoft and the quality or their xbox........what a joke no need to continue that argument. Look at call of duty! The 3 of them that they are working on will be the same bugfests that mf2 was. Look at kinect.....pile of garbabe that will sell because of a marketing campain! Take a look at high marketed titles....usually they are only mediocre they arent the best thing since sliced bread. Fallout 3 wasnt as marketed as new vegas at least to me because is saw billboards taxis and ads everywhere and i had a feeling this would end up happening. Look at halo.....mediocre.....call of duty....mediocre......ect. The more money they put towards marketing the less gets put towards the game. Thats how it goes and the customers are the ones who get shafted. I dropped out of business school because of the shady business practices that you learn. Seriously they teach you how to put the crappiest product possible out and make 500% profit for it. There is a difference in cutting costs and greed. And why is this happening? Its all OUR FAULT!!! Why? Because we take it and dont do anything about it. The XBOX should be illegal to make....its [censored] period! But they are allowed to get away with it because of all of the consumers that dont stand up for your rights. Go to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and complain about these products. Get together for a civil lawsuit! I am dead serious! It needs to happen! Unless you are all happy with getting reamed in your butt without lubrication I would do something! Just sayin... :fallout:

Im just using it as a well known product issue. Everyone knows about it and no one does anything about it. Just like games that come out and dont work like they should.

Yeah but what he wanted was unreasonable. No violence? Really? Better stop making movies too then. What we should all want as gamers is a product that works as intended. And if they want to realease a bug ridden game thats fine as long as they state that its going to be buggy as hell before they launch the game. We were sold on the idea that it worked. I dont remember where i read it but on the playstation blog or something they were questioned if it would be stable on ps3 unlike fallout 3 and they stated it would be stable across all platforms. This obviously was a LIE.

Bugs arent anything new in gaming industry they have always been here and always will be.
what has changed is the gamers, we are getting more rageish and what ever will be released there will always be people that like it and people that dont.

as for the popular QQ in internet nowdays, its nothing new. The area where the QQ happens has changed not the amount of it. before internet it was your local friends you shared your whining
i hate gamers today, just whining about every single thing, even you just making assumptions because of people posting their problems here, its in the end a minority of people getting these problems.

For me 1 crash in 20 hours gameplay because of a small faulty item spawn script isnt game breaking and certaintly nothing i havent encountered before in the game industry during my travel from NES era to the current.

Grow some balls and stop whining, make constructive Bug reports now that you have possibility to make them instead of pointlessly shouting OH MY GAWD I GOT FROZEN with not a single strand of info why and where it happened

Ah i see....you are right. And i completely agree that people whine and [censored] too much. But at the same time people like you that never do will just see the industry go downwards. but you are right. Shame on me. Ha! OK GUY! Have you played Oblivion? How about Fallout 3? Ok if you have then you know that one of them is completely UNPLAYABLE after you get so far in the game. And it looks like this is going to be similar with NO FIXES just like fallout 3. Oh and dont forget the DLC that DIDNT WORK and was a pain in the ass just to try and complete. just sayin

I own both Elderscroll 4 and Fallout 3, i platiniumed Fo 3 even played it so much i had to invent new challenges to keep it interesting i had tops 4-5 crashes over 140+ play hours which isnt really much

as for oblivion made couple of lvl 40 characters in the GoTy edition and played it pretty much so that there was nothing to do anymore..

now people that whine about games when they havent even tested properly, are just plainly looking for something to waste their time on like raging for something they should not even be raging about


//to add, most of the bugs in FO3 came after GoTY was released and in the GoTY edition not the original it is fully understandable that a company isnt going to invest as much time into bug fixing if its for a re-release of a game that came out around 1 year ago.

FO:NV is a new game and it will definitely get patched quite allot during its first 6months of sale period with christmas this near aswell....

First off i never said the game was awful just broken. Second i think we need a mod to close this topic because this isnt going anywhere. I get attacked because I think something needs to be done. The dlc was broken for 3 and they didnt do anything and peoples excuse is well its old. Ya well they didnt fix it when the dlc was new either so what makes you think they will fix this so its stable? Im going back to play the game its fun just a pain in the butt to do anything. You guys have fun not doing anything about broken games now. I hope they fix it i really do but they dont have a good track record for it which is why I want to do something about it.

this is the first game i have had these issues in. Fallout 3 was great and i loved it. Call of duty was great and i loved it. Maybe you just svck at these games so you are complaining. A lawsuit will not work... The key is to be patient and wait on the patch. Hopefully this will solve our fustrations.

BUT... because FNV is built basically on FO3 shouldn't it have been a better (more stable) product on release day? Patches shouldn't be the gaming industry standard, which I believe was the initial point. We paid our hard earned money for a well made product. Not something patched (whenever) or well after the first week of release. Bethesda knows that it needs to be fixed sooner rather than later, but it does not excuse them from what they have done. There was no mention of bugs, crashes, save corruptionss, etc, when gamespot did their pre-release 'hands on testing' on Aug 19th.

So something isn't quite on the 'up and up'. Maybe something ruined the stability and gameplay on all 3 platforms during the shrinkwrapping/packaging of the then 'flawless' FNV.

i agree. BUT... us sittin here bit*hing and moaning is not getting anything done. It shouldn't have been released like this... right.. but talking about sueing people wont help at all. Patience is a virtue. We need to focus on accuratly posting the bugs so bethesda can patch them.. otherwise, return the game and get off the forums so it doesn't block the important issues..
