Has anyone come across this problem?

After finishing the into and leaving the caverns, my level bar is empty. I know thats shouldn't be possible since I've killed an number of foes. I'm unsure if its a display issue or a more basic "Bethesda can't count" problem. Is there a console command that would display my stats so I can check?

Edit: I'm not sure if this is also relivant but I had the problem with objects flying at great speed when I touch them just before I left the cavern.

Well the killing itself doesn't give you any levels, as it's the usage of skills that gives you levels, but at that point you should have gotten at least a few levels :s
