Like it says in the title I'm level 38 70 hours in and 11mb in size. The lag isn't as bad as I've seen, where you can't do anything. But its to the point now I've tried all the tricks, restarting turned autosave off lowered brightness, in big open areas it skips around a lot inside of caves and so forth its decent. Really want it fixed though. I've even cleaned up all the save files from previous games down to only what I own. I have 120gb ps3 and it runs great untill skyrim. So please bethesda fix.. and btw anyone ghostrep187 is my tag. Looks like I'm going back to bf3

yeah, it svcks.. if you want to play this game currently with a large save file, be prepared for a lot of resetting... ALOT

spoiler - most of the tricks and tips are a waste of time, the reset trick is the only thing that gets results along with keeping auto save off.

bf3 needs to sort out the controller input lag too, im feed up of having to play at 576p to get some descent precision aiming..

all n all, next gen consoles need to release soon, current gen cant seem to do [censored] right these days.... blame the devs or the console?... hmmmm

Ty much I've only done 9 main quests. 22 dark brotherhood though lol. I want to get every side quest done before I finish 58 quests in total I've finished though and I can almost smith dragon armor can't wait. And the patch ill be patient for ill be at work for the most part of the week

So whats the deal with the Dragon Armor anyways? Am I missing something about it? I finally got smithing up to 100, but the Daedric still has a better armor rating than the Dragon, even when refined the Dragon armor still comes in lower than refined Daedric. Is there something else to it that I am missing?

Idk I'm not quite there the better armor will be higher in level so daedric seems better I'm still a dragon fan though so ill keep with it looks better too

Yeah level 39 here and it's unplayable after about 15 mins.. started getting frame issues at around level 18 with 8MB save file.

I emailed Bethesda and their reply was that my PS3 overheating is to blame and not their software, strange how when I load a level 5 character without switching off my system the game runs perfectly again for hours.

So with so much speculation about why the game is lagging out. Here's maybe a different guess. So I have about 79 hours played at level 41 with 9.9mb save file. I have not disabled anything, like auto saves or changed anything on the game, been playing it right out of the box. I have had one game freeze up on me, but when I took out the disk it had a smudge on it, cleaned it off, and has not done it since. As for lag the only time I will get slight lag is when the game is auto-saving, but once its done doing that it goes away, and its not nearly as bad as I have seen others post about.

Now I am not trying to defend the issues of the game, as I know they are there. My guess is this. Maybe its not the save files. I have only done a few of the main story line quests. As with these types of games I usually don't do the story line until I'm done exploring and doing the side missions. So what if the issues are caused by the main story line and how far along you are into them? Just a guess. Either I'm just part of the 1 percent here not having lag issues, or maybe it is the main story line.

This is why i dont have much faith in the patch. They still keep blaming anything else but their game and the only confirmation we got is that the patch is supposed to "improve performance" whatever that means.
The thing about overheating is definitely a lie, since this game seems to stress my ps3 less than quite a few other games as even the fans does not spin up and air coming out of the fans is not hot either.
