My friend has a copy of NV for his PC, and we decided to do an experiment to test how tough some faction members really are.
Doing 100 vs 100 battles, the wars were gruesome, but I thought I'd just share these results.

The Boomers vs. The NCR (Normal Troopers armed with Service Rifles)

This was the first battle. Going on 100vs100.
The NCR troops started to charge to the main gate of the NAFB. The artillery easily took out about 60 soldiers, leaving the rest crippled or wounded. These 40 soldiers finally made it to the gate, and breached it. They took out 15 Boomers, but the missiles were too much for them. The NCR lost.
(I did a trail run without the Artillery. The NCR still lost, but took out about 47 Boomers that time.)

The second battle was 100 NCR Veteran Rangers going up against the Boomers.

As the same, they charged to the main gate, but only 15 died. The rest tore up the Boomers with Brush Guns and AMR's. 69 NCR Veteran Rangers lived. 0 Boomers.

The Boomers vs. The BoS

Had to be one of my favorite battles. 5 Died charging the main gate. It was like watching star wars. There were just red and blue lasers with smoke every where.
Many boomers turned into piles of ash. Others got blown away by Tesla Canons. The ending results were 70 BoS soldiers. 0 Boomers.

The Boomers vs. The Legion.

This was quite sad. 90 Died charging the main gate, the rest got blown to bits from missiles. Only 1 boomer died from getting hacked to death.
( I equipped them in heavier armor to test it again. They did a little bit better, but machetes aren't what you use to kill missile launching maniacs.)

We are going to do more, just for fun later on.

Were the BoS equipped with T-51b?

And try this with deathclaws involved.

This sounds awesome. I'm curious how the Legion would do against the NCR straight up even if Legion outnumbered by 2:1.

you should do veterans vs centurions, would be interesting to see to see the factions tier 1 go against eachother

I took some of your suggestions in mind. I will be doing 100vs100 battles without artillery. Fair and Square. Just out in the middle of the desert.
(His computer can handle a lot. I was surprised when he was able to do these battles.)

But, I already have done the Deathclaw against the boomers.
Ehh, all the boomers died is all I can really say.

And yes, the BoS were equipped in T-51b Power Armor, armed with the nastiest of Energy Weapons.

Future battles:

BoS vs NCR(Veteran Rangers)

NCR vs Legion (Mix of strong and weak)

NCR, BoS, and Legion vs 50 Legendary deathclaws. (100 mix of the toughest soldiers they can possibly provide for the other side.)

He must be playing with a [censored] ZAX or something. My computer has problems handling fights involving around 10 enemies, let alone 200.

How is the engine supposed to handle this?
Wouldn't most of them just idle until others have died?

I like the idea, but am not suprised about the results tbh.

Try quarry juction with 10 - 12 Veteran Rangers, heck maybe 6< would be able to do it.

Put god mode on first sneak into the loot place then spawn them.

My money is on the vets.

I could have him e-mail me his computer specs if you want. It is an amazing computer that can handle a lot of stuff.
He can handle up to 200 characters in fight in F:NV. Anymore and it is freezing and glitchy.

Was there major lag?

Star Wars
BoS (Clones) & Centurions (Jedi ala Shishkebabs) versus Robots (Protectrons for Battle Droids, Sentry Bots for Crab Droids, Securitrons for Super Battle Droids)

Little to none. If there was lag, we wouldn't have done it.
Hard Rebooting is no fun.
