You can sell firewood you chopped at a chopping block.
You can use ore you've mined to make ingots.
You can eat food you've cooked.
But as far as I can tell, there is no purpose whatsoever in using a lumbermill to saw logs in half. Other than strutting around town afterwards saying: "Yep, ya see that log there? Sawed it in half myself... It's a gift really, you won't find any logs more Symmetrically sawed than-- oh nevermind they mysteriously sunk into that big pile of sawed logs, never to be seen again... that happens from time to time."
I just don't see any point to it, which wouldn't really bother me normally, I'd just think it's a cool feature they added for roleplaying purposes or something. But every other type of work you can do has a purpose, so is there a point to using lumbermills that I'm not seeing?...
