Master Architect achievement won't unlock!

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:56 am

Bough Hearthfire the other day...spent like 5 hours building the houses trying to get the "Master Architect" achievement....and it did not unlock. I'm pretty upset about this....mainly because i have searched all over the forums...and it seems i'm the only one having this problem....there was one person but somehow they got it to unlock...but i can't. I built all the houses with all the possible extra rooms. I did not fill the houses completely because i read that you don't have to.

Is anyone else having this problem? And does anyone know a fix for this? I really don't want to start over again...and then have it not unlock again.

I'm not 100% sure if it is needed or not, but did you convert the starter houses into an entrance or whatever?

I got the achievement. What i had to do was go onto a different save before i purchased the properties, then purchase the properties again and had to make sure i had enough of the supplies for all 3 houses (because i couldn't fast travel, i didn't want to take the risk of the workbenches resetting) Then i rode shadowmere to each of the houses and build them with all additions and i had to make sure i turned the house into an entry way. I didn't wait...nor fast traveled because it could have messed the acheivement
