I think "no fix in sight" is a little quick to say, but I understand your feeling of hopelessness.
As of last night I went from an okay play-able game with lag to a game that if I continue to play will destroy my Playstation. It's like Bethesda got tired of us complaining and decided to give us something BIG to complain about. "Haha, that'll show 'em."
As I see it if I don't play Skyrim it's $60 down the drain. If I DO play Skyrim it's $360 down the drain. Thumbs up, developers. This is definitely a game I will remember for all time.
It's a little disappointing to see the company trying to move forward with the game and leave us behind.
Right now is a big time for video game developers. When a similar game comes along for the PS3 or PS4 at the same time as a Bethesda game... I can't necessarily say I think Bethesda will do it better, despite having years and titles under their belts. This is the perfect opportunity for a viable alternative, so let's see who takes the hearts of the Playstation crowd after this fiasco is over.
