Morrowind Modders, Anyone left?

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 6:41 am

Okay, I've been actively avoiding this thread. :P I'm trying very, very hard to keep my distance from Skyrim modding in general for the moment (because I'm trying to crank out my own indie title, and time either goes to that or this)... but I'd be lying if I said there weren't thoughts a-brewin'... and hey, there are names here I haven't seen in six years or more! Wonder if Galsiah's still lurking...

Anyway, I'm another of those "Morrowind but mostly Oblivion" modders, though I think I made a couple of reasonably solid contributions to TES3. Been a rabid TES fan since Arena, so sooner or later I'll be active here too; it's inevitable. :)

Congratulations. Wow, I have probably not talked to you in over two years, that is crazy. Hugs man!
Hahaha. Maybe just maybe she can be your muse and inspire you to greater things.

No toolset yet.

I hereby hand out a new bunch of fishysticks for a new beginning ^^ (damn it had I got the money I would travel around and give them to ye all personally).

Maybe I should plan what I want to do. hmm.

Oh that's right.. play the game first (grumble).

Thx buddy, I remember how i used to chat with you on mobile msn back at work in Airport year 200X :)

Ive been thinking, maybe we could co-op and remake Wizards Islands permafrost armor for Skyrim? You could remodel and I would texture :)

Yep, was an active modder back in early Morrowind days, wow that was so long ago now. I did some housing mods, contributions, few unfinished projects etc. I did voice acting for Emma's children mod, very poor effort on my part but I believe I was like 13-14 at the time haha. I skipped modding in Oblivion besides some personal projects, been focusing more on a design for my TC I will be making in the Creation Kit.

Anyone else from the Morrowind Modding community?

I'm still here and can't wait for the Skyrim creation kit!

Wow! It's great to see so many of the elite from Morrowind Modding here. Names I haven't seen in such a long while. I look forward to seeing what you all do for Skyrim... :celebration:

Although I'm not particularly proud of the earlier work I attempted for Morrowind,
That's how I feel about my Morrowind stuff that I actually released. I cringe every time I think of it. I did release some minor retextures and some sacks with vegetables for Oblivion though. Maybe this time I'll actually complete something larger...

I'm still around, if that means anything. At least back in the Morrowind days only half of the mods released were body enhancers. Maybe we can bring that standard back in Skyrim so we can avoid the 99% of Oblivion content that featured "XXXXXL Boobeez Lol".

there's only like.. 3 body mods, and no one remembers any except Better Bodies :P but i get your point... and I HOPE we won't have to many "XXXXXL Boobeez Lol" for skyrim... :cryvaultboy:
Bad news for you two...I know of an entire site waiting to FIYA THE TORPEDOES In this regard

I was going to do that but then I realized that I'm a guy. I'll probably create the mod anyway but I have to rename the items to like... "Manly flower vase" and "Badass decorations" or something

I miss morrowind. The scripting, the rooms. I made two mods for it, one that added a buyable apartment in vivec in the foreign quarter and one for a house outside of the telvanni capital city.

Not that I released much for MW or OB (just a few minor mods), but I'm present & playing Skyrim nonetheless. Things like Diverse Voices and Soundscaper seem unnecessary in this game. Lots else to mod, though. If all proceeds as usual I shall have tons of ideas and no time in which to realize them.

I modded Morrowind on and off for several years, but mostly for myself. Think I released "Clear Glass" and "Bound Armorer's Hammers" mods and maybe a few others, though. Definitely plan on working with Skyrim once the CS comes out.
