Early in the prologue the game tells me to use RS to look around. Funny, cause I'm using a mouse. But the camera won't respond In the CC screen. No mouse pointer appears. Enter key doesn't work. It says press X to accept, and that doesn't work either. I press ESC, no menu shows up where I might swicth to mouse control. No control options in the start up menu either.

My mouse works fine with other games. It does nothing in this one.

Just disable Xbox Controller Support from Options

There is no option for that in the start up menu. and ESC won't pull up an option menu in the game either.

There should be an skyrimprefs file in your documents->my games->skyrim folder.

Just change the bGamepadEnable=1 value to bGamepadEnable=0 and save the file. Haven't tested myself, since I didn't have that problem, but I think it'll work.

for some reason it started working now (I tried to change it once before but now it works it could also be that I installed that 1.1 patch for the pirate copy I have legit copy but...) :/ weird could it be that for some reason steam didn't download the patch anyways it works now
