My New Akaviri Build

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 4:09 am

Wanted to get some input and suggestions for this build. I currently have it set to get to level 40, but have some wiggle room for perks/skills until 50. I want to carry the character through everything and get it to level 81, so I have a bunch of perks to place.

Thanks!

Think about using an Argonian, seeing as the race was half human half serpent.

not sure about that. They are depicted as human or human like in the game judging from their corpses and such. Speaking of oblivion.

think he is speaking about the ancestors to the blades not the other races. They are describe as serpent like but never seemed so in the games reality.

Really ? Esbern just stated they were Akaviri, I assumed they were humans (before they were eaten) who travelled to Tamriel from there.

pretty sure it goes something like the serpent men invaded, cut a path through skyrim to cyrodil, reman cyrodil defeated them and they swore allegiance becoming the blades.

@ op
From reading your build I can't see much wrong with it. Lore wise the imperial race makes more sense since the akaviri who invaded tamerial were integrated into imperial society. If your going to go to 81 then you going to have to do a lot of power leveling if you wish to keep the play though honest and since it has restrictions on thieving skills it may become even more difficult. Another thing is that smithing does not work well with blades armor if you choose to use that. The skill will still aid you in improving it but the perks will not, however if you are on the pc you can get a mod to change this. For the rest of the perks you wish to place, at a certain point it begins to become less important. You can easily max out or come close to maxing out your primary skills and can even get away with a misplaced perk or two.

That's where trainers come in handy. I had over 700,000 gold in my last playthrough that I was planning to spend on training all my remaining levels up to 100, then I had to delete it due to lockups making it unplayable.

can become difficult since it is based on levels. I'm sure others can manage levels better than me but I always forget to train before leveling. It can also become difficult due to the fact that at a low level money is hard to come by but levels are not.

Easy way to gain money in the low levels, the Orc stronghold next to Windhelm, ebony ore galore, net you several thousand gold per trip. Also the gold mine outside of Markarth. Learn the Transmute spell as well to increase your earnings even further, a transmute spell book can be found in Halted Stream Camp, along with over 50 Iron Ore to get started transmuting.
