Okay... so far I actually like the new patch... dragons actually fight me now... them just flying around in circles while I was trying to get a lucky bow shot pissed me off... and the lag is significantly decreased... although I did encounter a little bit of lag while attacking a fort for the Civil War questline...

I have 150 hours of gameplay so far and the game has never froze on me, which is surprising seeing as the PS3 is infamous for freezing mid game... however after the patch has happened... the game has froze on me 7 times... and I've only been playing it for a few hours... it always happens when it tries to autosave after I fast travel somewhere... and no it wasn't doing the quick freeze to allow autosave to be faster... the first time it happened I just let it go to see if it was just taking a rediculous amount of time to save... 30 minutes later it was still like that... good thing I don't use a plasma lol...

anyone else encountering this or is it just some anomaly happening in my PS3 only?

Do turning off all the autosaves remove the freezing?

Well I have autosave off when traveling, and charcter menu auto save on for 30 mins. As for lag its significantly decreased like you said, and my save file is 15 MB, 160 hours, maybe turning off the auto save when traveling should help this.

Haven't tried that yet... only problem with that is that I use my autosaves alot... only time I save it myself is when I'm changing characters...
