That isn't necessarily the fault of any of the patches. Any console can freeze or crash just like a computer. That's technology for ya!

You got a whole 3 hours of entertainment before it happened! Compared to some poor consumers you are to be envied.

IF the patch works then does that mean we can use autosave now??? freezing wont be a problem if so :)

But it shouldn't freeze that often for one game. My PS3 has hardly ever frozen (maybe a total of 3 times for my 30+ titles combined, all of which I have played extensively). Meanwhile, I've had dozens of freezes for Fallout 3 and New Vegas each. I've stopped play Skyrim, but it froze 3 times before I did.

My original Phat PS3 got YLoD immediately after a Fallout 3 freeze, and my Slim model after that got it's disc reader completely putzed up after a New Vegas freeze. It's unhealthy for the system.

Except when it freezes during an autosave and the save becomes corrupted and you lose hours of play.

Oh come on. Even you can't seriously believe that. Bad bugs in games and bad software do freeze the system and can actually break the PS3 completely. That is a fact. I've had 2 PS3's broken by LBP alone and this game has frozen the syetem many times already. These are the only 2 games I have ever had the problem with. I've got hundreds of games and never had a problem with any of them doing anything untoward to the system.

Since I've installed the patched (about 20 Minutes ago)

The game did freeze 2 times.

I am so angry.
My game did run fine (SSD) and I was so plain stupid and installed the patch.

It is getting more and more absurd.
Nothing more.

Imagin, a car manufacterer would release such a broken car, order a recal (patch) and afterwards, the car works worse than before!
