Penitus Oculatus Armor

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 11:22 pm

Since I have always despised the Dark Brotherhood since the days of Morrowind, I decided to do something that I have been dying to do...kill them all. So I cut off Astrid's head and sacked the DB Sanctuary and now all the incredibly weak assassins lay dead :twirl:

...Ahem, sorry about that rant. Anyhow I noticed that the guy who gave me the job was wearing some very cool looking armor and was wondering if there was a way to get a set. Ironically I assume that I could loot some of bodies near the end of the DB storyline but since I neither want nor can at this point, I figured I would post the question and see what people say. Also try to keep the, 'Are you crazy, DB ftw!' comments to a minimum, everyone has their likes and dislikes and I am just curious about the armor. Thanks in advance!

There is a small outpost of them in Dragon Bridge. Might want to check there :)

Kill him and loot it? Get 100% pickpocket perk and take it right off his back? I went there but never noticed he had interesting armor, will have to pay them a visit next time I'm playing and check it out.

I'm still really struggling to find any armor I really like. Ebony is the only one I kinda like so far but I prefer light armor and none of my characters are high enough level to get it anyway (Only my orc smithed his own)

You can kill the guy in dragonsbridge and take his armor. I don't know of any other way to get it.

I had no trouble getting the armor of of a P.O. soldier I assassinated and planted incriminating evidence on during one of the DB quests... but you probably wouldn't be interested. :whistling:

If your pickpocket is high enough you could just take it from him.

AFAIK, the armor is only found on P.O. members; so crime is the only way to get it. Bear in mind that while it may look like heavy armor, it's light armor.

Why would it look like Heavy? Its Leather.

Tuliius' armor is heavy and the P.O. armor is the same armor with different colors. So you could think it's heavy without being stupid.

I think once youve finished the imperial questline there are some PO agents hanging around Solitude.

PO is light armour. I joined the DB and killed & looted hordes of them.

Curass needs iron to upgrade, rest are upgradeable with leather.

Sorry for the disapointment but if you spent perks on heavy armour it's not for you.

Also the Jagged Crown, and all 3 can also be worn with masks (only Dragon Priest?) as well as circlets. Yay extra enchantment slot! There is also a go to jail exploit that gives basically unlimited enchantment slots.

I think there's a regular one in the outpost who you can kill to get his armor although that might put a bounty on your head.

This.

He can be sneak attacked while sleeping for no bounty.
