A perk resetting mod

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 3:24 am

So i am pretty far in my playthrough, but I realised that instead of training in 1-hand weapons, I should have done 2 Handed -weapons. Does anyone know of a mod that allows me to remove all perks in 1 handed and add them to 2 handed, or jsut remove all perks i got, so I can reassign them too.

Please don't go trolling that i should start a new playthrough, it's only 1 skill I want to change.

maybe, add [REQ] to your topic? this doesn't seem too hard, and the devs may've left a command like this for testing purposes if no-one tosses out a mod like so anytime soon

You could try looking at Skyrim.esm in http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=165 to find the formIDs of those perks, then removing/adding them via the console - I expect http://geck.gamesas.com/index.php/AddPerk and http://geck.gamesas.com/index.php/RemovePerk%22]RemovePerk[/url] should both still work.

No perk resetting mod, but you can manually respec yourself with console commands.

Remove a perk by using... player.removeperk perkID
Add a perk by using... player.addperk perkID

You can find a list of perk IDs http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Perk_Codes_%28Skyrim%29. Obviously if you want to do this 'legit' you will want to count out how many perks you remove and only grant yourself as many perks as you removed.

You need to make sure to add leveled perks in the right order.

Ok, but do you know if using console commands affects steam achievements, I might also need console commands to remove a glitch (5 not moving Louis Letrush's are standing in front of Whiterun and 1 of them in half stuck in the ground  and they are actually multiplying, they started out as 2 Louis Letrushes, kinda breaks immersion).
Also, it's a question if there is a mod like this already, not a request for someone to make a new 1.

As far as I know, they do. If you care that much about achievements, you aren't going to be able to respec.

I used various mods in Fallout: New Vegas and they didnt seem to affect the achievements. Will it be like New vegas console commands then, you can use them, just restart you game and your achievements will be normal agian. If I can reset em through a mod, they probably aren't going to hurt them at all.

There isn't a mod that does this yet, so like I said you need to do it manually with the console. I have no idea how Steam achievements work because I have never cared about them. Sorry :x

So can you unlock all perks doing it this way? Or , can you only add a perk after deleting one?

http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1876

Instructions are within the readme\mod description

Uses ScriptDragon see: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1292671-rel-script-dragon/
I'm not including the asiLoader\ScriptDragon DLL per the authors request, you can get it from the link above.

Also, according to some users of the thread, does not work with the current official 1.1.21 Russian version of Skyrim.

And shameless 8 day bump. :)
