It's either second gen or late first gen, either way that's what I'm using, I look after the old boy so he just keeps plodding along without any problems.

However, I fear Skyrim may be the death of my old 360 if this texture scaling issue isn't fixed soon, I need to play games off my hard drive or my xbox gears up to take off down the runway, but I'm just too much of a fusspot to play it knowing I could be playing a better version on my console by just uninstalling.



Anyone else currently going through this? A date, or an estimated date, would be brilliant, so I could know how long I have to avoid Skyrim for, so as to save my 360!

There was an article on IGN today, they're currently working hard on an update for all systems, which should include the texture fix. However they won't announce a release date for this, probably because they'll just have so many bug reports coming in and have to decide which are the priority. I'd hope within a week, but I don't know how hopeful that is being.
