I have no idea if this is due to the patch or not.

I was working on the Forbidden Legends Quest and had cleared out 2 of the 3 dungeons with only Geirmund Hall left prior to the patch. Now I have installed the patch. After traveling to Geirmund Hall I proceed to go into the cave entrance. **I had not tried to go into this prior to the patch** At this time there is normally 10-20 seconds (on PS3) where the game is loading the dungeon and then you proceed to go through and destroy everything inside. My problem is the load time after entering this dungeon is about 5+ mins to just have a view of the inside of Geirmund Hall. Still at this point I can't move and if I can move it is only about an inch every 30 secs. Both the yellow and green lights on my PS3 are constantly lit so the PS3 is working very hard to load. I end up quiting the game and go do other things. After doing other dungeons (which I have no problems with) I go back to Geirmund Hall hoping that something has changed. No such luck. I have tried many different approachs before going into the Hall. I have left my pack mule (Lydia) behind and also have tried with her by my side. Always get the same result, game practically freezes and I have to quit. I can't bring myself to start over so I may just never complete the forbidden legends quest. Any suggestions or help?

Try making a new character, going straight there and entering. If the same thing happens, a re-install may be in order. If not, I'd guess your save file is corrupted.

Thanks for the reply. I think I also might try to go back to an old save and go straight there and enter. I guess it is better to lose 15-20 hours than it is to lose 90 hours of playtime.
