POSSIBLE FIX IMPROVEMENT, regarding the framerate drops issu

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 7:06 am

Ok, Like so many ppl I've had this frustrating issue regarding the frame rate drop in Skyrim.
And after reading the forums for more info on the subject, I've decided to try something, hoping to resolve/improve the manner.

So what I've try is to disable the Auto-save functions for the ''save on'' menu, fast travel and wait options in the settings menu. (Remember to manually save whenever you can before big fight or after quests completion)
I've played for about an hour, fast travelling from Town to town and dungeon to dungeon. And after a few Civil War quests and a few moderate scale battle, my game was still running super smooth. (with a few very minor frame drops)

I tried this on a slim version of the PS3(1st Gen), with a save file of 9.1mb in size.
Now I'll try to play for a few hours to see how this thing turn outs.

Hope this might help a few of us.

p.s: Im not trolling, this seems to help my game, so I figure that if It could help me it could help others.

I've done the same thing, and while it did fix some stuttering, the game still dips below a good FPS occasionally. It's distracting to play it like this...

Dude im not trolling. This seem to be helping my game, might not help all of us but the main reason I've posted is to try to help ppl out.
We should all try to come up with ideas like those, anything that could help a bit is better then whining about how the game doesn't work. :)

also do not let your game go above 17mb in size or its lag central... [sigh] I hope they release a hotfix soon I know they're working on dlc but there is no point for dlc if the game cannot even be played properly, they're prolly going give more attention to 360 as usual, god I hate that system so much...
