So this happened a couple of days ago. Whenever I go to the North entrance to the strip (idk is there any other entrance to vegas?) i will get the loading screen like you usually do to enter vegas but after it loads the screen goes black and just stays black. I cannot even pull up the menu to the 360 by pressing the middle button. Has anyone had this problem? Are there any more patches coming that might fix that? Thank you.

Same thing has happened to me exactly how you described it. I cannot complete the main quests due to this. I can get into the other two sections of the strip via the monorail. However, when I try to go to the other gate of the section of strip that has (Mr. House, Gomorrah), it freezes before I reach the gate. Try using the monorail through Forth McCarran. It will take you to the middle section of the strip. However, I assume you will run into the same issues I am having from both directions.

First try using the old cowboy hat you can purchase from Crimson Caravan fort. Wear it and walk thru north gate.
