Well the title pretty mush says it all the first patch you guys sent out did nothing but make things worse I cant get veronica to start her quest and i made sure to leave more then three places untouched so i could go there with her for the first time. But that made no difference. Ive mentioned other bugs i think i put it in the wrong forum in the general discussuion area I think the title was "my companion and i stuck" all in all im pretty pissed you guys siad you were going to fix this stuff but have you? Hell no. and micrsofts little update didnt help much. So thanks alot obsidian you just roayally killed your fan base.. its sad to cuase this could have been a really good installment. Oh and by the way the guide was FULL of typos such as the repcon facility as it relates to arcade gannon.

so you are getting mad that the first patch released for the came didn't fix your one quest bug. There will be more patches released, and your bug will probably be fixed. There is a lot more things in that game than just companions.

Most of which are equally as broken.

I too am REALLY disappointed. I've dealt with the numerous bugs/glitches in Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3. I managed to complete all three games and enjoy them. I am running into game breaking bugs in New Vegas. I've invested over 40 hours into the game and I am at a point where I cannot get into the Lucky 38 Casino without being fired upon (The House Always Wins will not even load) and now my ED-E freezes my controls when the Brotherhood asks to see him. Its obvious that they cut corners with reusing TONS of assets from Fallout 3 but would it have been too much to ask to have the game properly QA'd? I hope a patch is forthcoming. I will shelve the game until then but if they do not address these bugs in the patch they can forget about me buying any DLC. This is from a person who has purchased every bit of Bethesda DLC except for the horse armor. Sorry for the rant but I am just now putting on the shelf the game, that for me at least, was going to be this years GOTY.

No im mad becuase that bug along with the other 5 i reported in another post have not been fixed. dont get cocky friend im not dumb i wouldnt be [censored]ing if there wasnt a good reason. Also I second the guy who siad he wont be buying any dlc if the bugs arent fixed. Finally i recommend that if the makers of new vegas are thinking waiting to realease the fixs with the dlc they claim to be making exclusively for the xbox that they not wait. that will just piss more people off and probably leave you with new bugs in the dlc you have to fix. Finally i dont understand how you guys never found these glitchs i mean they found me with no trouble at all.

The next patch sure is taking its sweet time, why they bothered to rush out the first patch is beyond me as they could have done one proper patch. Maybe the QA team told them that the first patch would fix every bug
The worst part is that you know some of the companies team are working on getting/rushing the dlc pack ready for xmas and not making sure the full game is completly playable for everyone.
If a game like GOW3 can push back a release date to ensure quality for LOYAL fans then why couldnt FNV.

Agree with the title of the thread. I have the save corruption bug and kind of want to just get rid of the game because who knows when the patch to fix that will release.
