So if you do not sabotage the launch then they actually go somewhere? Do they fly into outer space or are they going to some other part of the map? I am just curious about that. I assumed outer space, but I do not want to risk losing future quests if they were just going to some other part of the wasteland by mistake or on purpose.

If they are sabatoged the rockets fly into one another. I saw it on a video but don't recall which, I think it was the Game Trailers video review though.
