As someone that has play all the cannon games in the Fallout series (Fallout 1+2+3) :fallout: , here are the two main things that I really look forward to in New Vegas:

(1) The New California Republic! :twirl: If anyone read the other post that I have here, you can see that I am a big supporter of the NCR. I really want to see how much they have changed and developed since the events of Fallout 2. Also, I really look forward to support their cause in my first few playthoughs to help them bring law, progress, and democracy to the Mojave Wasteland.

(2) The 'grey vs. grey' faction conflicts. Similar to how I like the NCR, I also really want to see how your actions of supporting each faction will play out in the end. Perhaps the NCR is not as good as I think, perhaps Caesar's Legion are what is best for the people, and what about Mr. House's overall plan and goal? The factions add a lot more depth into the story of the game.

Top 5 things I'm looking forward to in NV:

  • 5 - Seeing what the "Wild Wasteland" Trait brings in terms of special encounters
  • 4 - Getting into NV proper and playing/breaking the bank in Casino type games
  • 3 - Crafting, Weapon and Armor Modding/Customization
  • 2 - Two Words: hardcoe Mode
  • 1 - Seeing Obsidan's storyline "handiwork" on the FO3 engine

And I'm looking forward to see how waterproof this whole faction thing is and see if what they said can truly be held up to be true.
And some fine lore.... Maybe excluding Repcon.... <_<

A blue sky. Seriously.

Skies are supposed to be blue. If they aren't, the first thought in my head is "Aw hell, my monitor's going out". And then if that's good, video card troubles. Took me 12 levels to realise my equipment was fine and that Bethesda thought the sky should be green

Did we play the same game?
Sure the sky could have a slight green tint if you looked far away at the horizon but when I looked up to the sky it was really blue, there were only a crapload of clouds.

Same here.

Not to ruffle your feathers Gabriel, but I'm curious to see what this Repcon business is about *Runs so I dont get beaten* :bolt:

I also can't wait to meet Mr. House :fallout:
