Might be might not be.

Probably most advisable to get it for PC as at least there the bugs can be worked around/fixed without too much effort.

I really hope it is not as buggy as FO3. I bought a second copy of FO3 for my PS3 after my xbox was fried. Seemed like it got worse the longer I played on a character. It got to be a real pain.

considering where the bar is, I'm assuming it will be less buggy.

Another one of these? How many do we need?

The ps3 version will be fine. It'll be just as stable as the 360 version.

Nay, not at the moment.
Also the developers did have experience with the PS3 so the chance of the game being about the same as Fo3 in terms of glitches and bugs might be minimal.

True...but a game like Fallout has a lot more potential for bugs then other more linear games. The sheer number of variables adds up, and makes testing that much more difficult.

As much as I'd like to test for Obsidian, a resume is in the mail Obsidian wink wink, a lot of it would probably be just mucking about in the same small area talking to people under different circumstances trying to find circular dialogue glitches, or trying to get trapped in the environment, or trying to prevent a scripted sequence from happening properly.

Hopefully the PS3 fares better with New Vegas than it did with Fallout 3, but it can be a difficult platform for developers. Unless Obsidian specifically devoted a lot of time to making New Vegas run optimally on a PS3 you might want to stick with PC or expect to wait for patches...or something.

I hope the PS3 version is fine for you.
But the fact of the matter is ,xbox is easier to develope games for,its more user friendly.
Does it not seem funny to you that most demos etc are shown on 360....its the most stable.
When fallout 3 was released,i saw reports & videos showing that the 360 was the most stable of the 3 platforms to begin with.
They seem to be able to use the memory etc better in the 360,which makes a difference.
I hope the game works well on all platforms...it benifits everyone in the end.
Even though i love my xbox,i still wish i could afford a high end or decent PC to run games like NV etc,but thats mainly due to the mods, nothing more.

as stated, the game utilizes dual core.

People forget bethesda are currently developing primarily for the xbox. not the PC. so adding support beyond the hardware capabilities of the xbox is not on their to do list. they make what can be considered ports to other platforms, ie PC & PS3. which will explain the UI on the PC and the reported bugginess on the PS3 versions of F3

He's right on this.
