Freeze ups

Just wanted to remind people that I too am still having freeze ups, but if you have screen freeze to just eject the disc to try and return to the dashboard. This will help a little with extra wear on your xbox from hard power offs.

Also, I still suggest everyone keep their xbox video settings to a minimum (I keep mine set to 720 instead of the 1081 my tv runs at {yes, most games only run as high 720 or even 480 but it still usually looks better buffed up with the 1080 setting on the xbox}).
Also, install the game to HDD. If problems continue you can also consider erasing ALL fallout data from your HDD to try it from scratch. I don't mean just the cache, but save files and game content. (this would be a last resort).

That said, I have read the preview for the upcoming patch, and I applaud The Devs for incorporating companion markers and some other fixes...some i have not encountered at all.
To be fair I didn't see a huge list of fixes. Does this mean we are just hearing the most recognizable fixes and the deeper programming issues aren't detailed? I am a little worried because I didnt hear any mention of streamlining the buffering. I am not a dev, and I am at best a technical layman, but it seems there would be a fix (and this might be what is already being addressed with DirectX-nvidia fixes) but the game still seems to struggle with a lot of onscreen action.
I am currently experiencing freeze up during the last attack on the Hoover dam. This was the same during the last attack on Washington in FO3. I have the same issue during Kimballs assassination attempt (both playthroughs were very jagged and teased of a crash).
I can assume that some scenes are more problematic than others, but I also had to think that the system is not doing an adequate job buffering onscreen content.
Like I said, this is all layman speculation, but I think something along this line would go further to correct current issues.

To be fair to everyone, it wouldn't hurt to address different issues publicly regarding intended flaws in the game versus issues that will get addressed (ie Raul needing to be excused from party to repair equipment even though he offers in companion dialog).
