Can't talk to victor in lucky 38

Victor decided 53 hours into my game, that bugging out would be funny, it isn't.
My first game came to a buggy end after 37 hours lol, so I am suffering here.

I found out I can use the lift in lucky 38 if I kill Victor, but I don't want to and to make matters worse all my companions are in here.

So has anyone found a solution that doesn't involve killing victor ?
If not then I guess thats 90 hours I wasted now, its a bit much.

Falling through the ground in a insignificant tunnel I can live with, this is a game breaker though.

Hopefully it can be addressed, in the meantime however I am not sure I can be bothered to start again.

Love the game, not many complaints! This however is now the 3rd recent game that arrived with some major flaws, FIFA and F1 2010, I am wondering if it is worth buying games in 2 months of release anymore.

Same here, bud - I haven't found any solution yet, I'm just going to try and plow through as many missions as possible without having to go in the 38, and hope they come up with a patch before I'm forced to kill Victor and House and take over Vegas without completing the quests.

Yes, there is a workaround. If you have a companion with you, simply open the chat panel with that companion from the wheel. Victor should immediately initiate a conversation with you once you exit conversation with your companion.

If you do not have a companion, and have not recruited them all, Arcade Gannon and Rex are both in Freeside.

From now on dismiss Rex, ED-E, or Arcade Gannon to their starting location. That way you always have a way to "reset" Victor on hand.
