For the Collectors out in the wastes.

I picked up the FO NV coasters only available at Kmart today and recommend them to the collector maniacs out there. A set of four, two sided coasters with a cool worn old look to them. Nice job Bethesda

Thanks

Is it Obsidian or Bethesda that designs the real world collectibles?

Probably they contract them out to another company.

Agreed! I just got home with mine, and got lucky and they sold me all 5 sets that they had, lol. Methinks these might be hard to find some day.

I am so sad, I really want that Lucky 38 themed coaster. Augh, Gamestop should have released some promo items too. :cold:

Buy them on eBay if you want them bad enough. Only about 20 bucks.

Try going to your local Kmart, you don't have to pre-order the game at all. You pay 5 bucks (plus tax) and boom you got them, plus a $15 off coupon for any game bought the week of NV release.

Are they of good make & material? I'd like to get them but I don't want them to get all jacked up within a month and essentially waste my cash. :tops:

Yea, they're made of the same stuff any coaster you would find at a bar. Not that I will ever use them :nerd: :fallout:

Just in case any of you fellows didn't read my thread.....

My fellow Fallout fans I come before you with a victory. I went to K Mart and it went perfectly. I told the guy I wanted to pre order the game (I'm not planning on picking it up just in case you're wondering) and he gave me the coasters and case that's with them, WITHOUT MY INFORMATION. He never asked for my number or anything. ( I paid cash) So they can't bug me about it. I gotta admit they're pretty sweet, I love the beat up look that they have. I like them all but my favorite is either Lucky 38 or the Ultra Luxe. The Tops is pretty awesome but the Vault 21 one isn't that cool to me but I guess it completes it. Definitely worth five dollars if you're a Fallout fan. :fallout: Now all I need is a NCR shirt. :D I'll probably just get one off of Cafe Press but the real promo item would be nice.

They get ruined after a couple days of use like any other paper/cardboard coaster and lol at anybody who thinks these things will be worth much in the future.

Who said anything about use? I'm not worrying about how much they will be worth I just like them because they're neat and some cool casino merch (which there isn't much of you have to admit). No need to be a spoil sport this is supposed to be fun! They are only gonna set you back five bucks not something to whine over. 40 days to go :fallout:

Don't you want a cool collectors new vegas coaster for a nice fresh beverage while you're playing new vegas? How cool is that!

But seriously, these things wouldn't last a week. They were meant for decoration with your other awesome fallout merch. I'm not using these and I'm not using those cards that come the the CE either. They'll all go next to my Vault Boy bobble head. :fallout:

I'll be enjoying these coasters with a nice fresh beverage, a nice bag of chips and new vegas when I get lost in the game for hundreds of hours.

Damnit, you convinced me - I'm going to go pre-order Another copy of NV at KMart and get those coasters.

I will now have pre-ordered two copies FNV (and never pre-ordered before FNV) - HOW INSANE AMI!?!?

I need Nuka-Cola and some cool coasters to rest it on while I imbibe a few thousand REMs... :fallout:

You don't need to pick up the pre order from K Mart, I pre ordered at GS and I'm not going to K Mart to pick the copy there. They don't care anyway they didn't even take my information. But definitely get the coasters, they look awesome. (BTW it comes with a cool pre order box too) :fallout:

I think that the whole collectors items are just something that make you smile when you look at them, I don't see it as a big deal.
