Post » Tue Jan 04, 2011 11:59 am

Hi there i try to harden my game and i thing that vats makes it too easy couse even if i have only 66 guns i can shoot almost anything in the head from long distances , i found that there is fVATSDistanceFactor multiplier for chance too hit and one factor that say what is max chance to hit (def 95) in vats. does this two settings work? could you please make a mini mod for only these :)
( i need just these two couse in other mods that i found these are missing and i dont know how to add em manualy)

While this did work in FO3 and the Wiki claims it works in FONV, it does not. Obsidian screwed around with several (many) settings in the engine. It was particularly necessary in FO3 because Bethesda nerfed VATS so badly.

I'd use fVATS hitchancemult if you want to mess with VATS accuracy, since it is global and doesn't only depend on distance.. Worked in FO3 and seems to work fine in NV.
