I went to the Crashed Vertibird Site and the REPCONN HQ's and he comments on these when he gets there, which the Wiki says should give him the 2 points needed for him to start the quest. He tells me about his Enclave history but the quest doesn't start and when I go to the Remnant Bunker, he doesn't open the door for me. So, can anyone help? Thanks!

EDIT: I also have gotten up to the For The Republic Part 2 quest and yet the quest hasn't triggered.

Have you tried going to the BoS base first? I believe the quest is only triggered either before or after going into the bunker (I can't remember if people have said you actually have to wipe out the BoS or complete the quest for the NCR, or if just going there is enough). He'll tell you when he's ready to go, the quest will begin to point you to the Remnant Bunker rather than you triggering it by going there.

I've already destroyed the BOS Bunker for the NCR. I'm at the point when the game tells you that the next quest is the final one, which I did already and just reloaded to a previous save to keep playing. So... he still hasn't activated the quest.

Did you have him with you when you destroyed the base? Have you tried going back to the base, going in and out and seeing? There's also quite a number of other triggers besides the crashed vertibird and REPCONN if I recall correctly, try collecting a couple more. Also, have you tried having ED-E with you at the same time?

I didn't have him when I destroyed the base, I'l go back to the base and try. I've got the scientist in Camp Mccarran and talking to him, thats another trigger. ED-E has been with me the whole time.

That may have been the problem. Yes, the trigger of the quest is, as I read, having Arcade with you when you enter/exit the BoS base, may have even needed to be with you before they were all dead but it's worth a shot taking him there, walking in what's left of the place (if you can) and walking back out. He might trigger before that, just being in Hidden Valley.

Just tried it, all the bunkers in the Hidden Valley. The quest didn't trigger....

I had him triggered when i was going for NCR all the way and the triggered happened with Col Moore. Just before the final mission.
