I havent played New vegas since the early days of December and just started up the game for the first time since then about half an hour ago, but I was not prompted to download anything resembling the "patch" which is suppose to fix many of the errors in the game.

I was, however, prompted to download a 4 mb update. That file size is consistent with standard live updates ive been prompted to download for almost every game on the 360, so am I missing something?

I expected a patch that fixes this many issues to be somewhat larger than 4mb, so I am, at this point, thinking that wasnt the patch, but if that wasnt the patch, then where is the patch?

Yes, the second patch was 4MB, as was the very first one. It is likely that for console gamers, you're not going to see patches as large because they need to take users without HDDs into consideration, and oddly enough even in two 8MB patches they were able to fix the same amount of problems it would seem as the PC patch which I'd read was about 120MB.

So to answer your question, that was the latest update.
